Well DS has gone off to do his bronze level of the Duke of Edinburgh and that's left me and DH alone for the weekend... unbridled passion I hear you say - not really! we had a steak and then watched Bridget Jones Edge of Reason!! I love that film and DH was willing to sit through it again - I think he may have missed a little of it but he swears that the noise I heard was the buzzing in my ears again and not him snoring!! I am prepared to let it go due to the fact there is only the 2 of us here and it would be a shame to spoil the w/e..
It's been a few days since i posted anything- a very dear friend (A) came over to see us on Tuesday night, he is in the UK on business and so we treated ourselves to a curry and beer night, totally enjoyed ourselves!!
We (DH & I)went to see the Simpsons Movie yesterday- loved it, but not as much as the man who sat in front of us, he was rolling around splitting his sides laughing, which made us laugh even harder!
Some good friends came over on Thursday and we had a nice chat, also had my GD for a while, she is officially a toddler, did I mention that? anyway she is wearing us old folk out, but we are loving every minute of it!!
I am remembering to take my memory pills so they must be working! Although if they are put back in the cupboard I do forget to take them, heck I even forget that I am taking them!
The travel agent has got back to us re 2008 celebrations for my 50th birthday- we have booked to go to Australia!!!!!Cannot quite believe it!!!!! Been and bought the travel guides and am starting to get excited, I know I shouldn't as it is such a long way off but I can't help it!! One of the hotels looks like it might be in an interesting part of Bangkok...... but we are only there 2 nights and travel is supposed to broaden the mind isn't it??
